My first time hunting today what did i find?

Like i said this was my first time going today im not even sure if this is civil war stuff but i found it on a river bank in nc where there was a battle in 1865 there was over 40,000 troops in the spot for 3 days.

will anybody help me?

I don't see anything civil war period right of the bat. The last picture you posted there is some Iron objects that make a 90 deg. angle. Are these heavy cast Iron? A closer up pictures of them might help also. It looks similar to some items I found some time ago in a Civil War site. I've always thought they were parts of a stove.

Hum?? It's not what I thought it was. I really don't have a clue. Don't give up if there was that many troops in the area for even for just a couple days they left some stuff behind. Keep us posted on anything else you find.
