We traveled to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina for the Battle of Secessionville Living History Weekend at the Boone Hall Plantation. The event featured many sutler's tents and period refreshments as well as the plantation itself that has over 300 years of history. The highlight of the day was the Battle of Secesionville Reenactment which was a preview of how the event down in 1862 at Fort Lamar, South Carolina.
