Yes sir that is one CW era stirup. Hit that site some more might be some other good relics hidding there.

Holy Cow!! Nice finds there, especially the CS Breckenridge Style Plate. I think I'm with Brian and I have heard of you before! :-)

Does anybody know what this is. I found it laying on top of the ground in a trench system outside of the Spotsylvania Battlefield. I also found two others like it.
