| We are nearing the final day of the eBay auction for the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Last week I researched this button deeper and found that the 15th Massachusetts absorbed the majority of the Fusiliers. I also researched the best way to liquidate this button and found that eBay would be my best overall option. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Upon posting on eBay, I had a really crisp, up-close image of the front of the button. However, I didn't have an image of the back. I scrounged up a camera and took a sub par photo of the back. It was the best I could do at that time. If you look at the listing, you will see that photo. I did, however, dig out my good macro camera and was able to post a picture of the back that was presentable. A day after the posting, I had the first bid of $100.00. However, since then, the bidding action has been quite dull. I have noticed that on most eBay auctions, the last few hours, even minutes and seconds tend to produce the majority of the bidding action. Along with that information and the fact that I put a better image of the back of the button on the page, I am hoping this increases the sale price. The sale ends on Thursday evening!
