| Got out today to a union camp we have been hunting for a few years. Dug a few bullets and a couple buttons. About had a heart attack when this "I" button popped up. I sure didn't expect to find this at this location. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Awesome recoveries... Quick question- What's the object to the left of the eagle button? That looks like the base off of a Williams Cleaner bullet. Also, your "I" button has the same strike pattern as the one that I found over in that area. The bottom portion of the "I" is off into the rim. Most of the I's I have seen have the "I" somewhat centered and both edges are equally away from the rim. Let me see if I can find that picture of that "I" I found. | |

| The part next to the eagle button is whats left of a rivit or part of one. It does look similar to the bottom of a williams cleaner! I'm glad you noticed that the stamping on the Cast I was off. I've been doing a little research today on Cast I's. I can't seem to locate any that are stamped like this. Besides the one you have also. I'm going to start a thread about these Cast I buttons. Hopefully someone else has seen one like this before. It was my understanding that these buttons where all the same, but it appears thats not the case now. Its a topic that needs further research.
