| OK, I'm not chicken! I'm in and those of you who read this and don't put your name in and join us - What you Scared! - Whimp! - You Want the Truth..... You can't ...... oh never mind just know we will talk about you badly until you take off a couple of pounds too.
My info:
Wieght now:238 lbs this morning
goal is 205 lbs - my best feel good wieght ever!
at 220 should be able to come of Blood pressure meds. Didn't need them before that wieght. Trigliceriades were at 450 which needs to be around 150 and cholest. is 220 average. They could not split it because of such a high level of motor oil in me.
So come on you pansies - No Guts, No Glory and No food! What a way to start the year!

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Best info on weight gain and health I've ever found. I have something called NASH that's an advanced for of "fatty Liver" disease. I got it under control with this diet although I'll be the first to admit it is hard to change old habits. The diet requires elimination of red meat, dairy products and sugar. Now try to find something in an American grocery store that doesn't have one of these. Now you know why America is overweight. But there is no $$$$ in healthy Americans or healthy eating our health is exploited for $$$$. Ask yourself who ever educated you to the things Dr. Cabot discusses in her books and website. American medicine and drug companies can't patent and get rich and famous on healthy living and eating. You lose about a pound a week. You can slowly add some of the banned foods to your diet until your metabolism is adversely effected and then have to back off a little. Fruits, veggies, cold water fish, beans, free range chicken and poultry, nuts, etc. exercise and proper rest. Live longer, and better, love your liver! | |

| Okay I'm in as well. Starting weight: 255
DIV Goal: 240
Vacation Goal: 225 I didn't see too many people discussing how they where going to do this. I'm cutting out sugar as a starting point. Now that I'm paying attenting to sugar content I'm floored by all the products that contain sugar.

| Great Job Jig keep it up! I hit 227 and keep floating up. Birthday parties don't seem to help much, but as with all parties - I'm happier! | |

| Jig I hate to say great, but ok I'll say it great job! Sorry it took getting sick to get that extra off but at least there was a bright side to the flu.
I think everyone else quit on us or just scared, but I'm still with ya. Keep it going my friend.

| OK Its Time! Every one get your totals in.
Im calling mine at 215 I started at 238 = 23 lbs. gone!
With the warm weather coming I plan on hitting the bike some too along with eating right and we'll see if that helps too in the long run.

I started out great but then fell off the bandwagon. I'm trying to muster up the motivation to get back on track. It's tough as heck, that's for sure! But, huge congrats and keep at it!
