Need an ID of the brass piece with initials Empty
PostSubject: Need an ID of the brass piece with initials   Need an ID of the brass piece with initials I_icon_minitime2/20/2011, 10:28 pm

Found this last weekend. Almost threw it in with the junk stuff. Instead I cleaned it up with the rest of the finds and my daughter was the first to see the initials.

Any ideas?

But the initials are definitely hand engraved or applied...H B printed then he made an attempt to scipt them in on the right hand side. I neet little piece, if the sash buckle and lead blobs pictured below came from the same area I would keep diggi for more clues.

Earl, the initialed piece and sash buckle was dug right bellow where a cast I button was found. Unfortunately I didn't dig that but went back to at spot and found most of what you see in that picture with 10 feet or so.
