Ian, Glad you and Ashlie finished the move and got the jobs issue worked out.. Now finally we'll start seeing some new videos coming out. Update on that Alamance Battleground dig. We have had three digs with the N.C. Dept of Archeology and History folks and here are a few of the relics we found. Verified that a skirmish did take place at the old regulator grounds in 1881 between the Colonial Army and a British regiment under Gen Cornwalis. A Colonial Army USA button and a British 3rd Regiment of foot button was also located nearby. This skirmish was only reported in an officers report so at least we settled that question. As far as the Battle of Alamance, we are still trying to locate the skirmish lines. We have found some musket balls and some grape shot but not enough in the area that would indicate a major skirmish took place where they said it did. We will still search for another couple of months to cover as much ground as we can. Tell Ashlie I still have those Federal soldier letters from 1864 for her to preserve when she has the time, they are a real interesting read.

To be honest, I had forgotten all about this project, so thank you for checking in with us! I'm glad to hear y'all confirmed the officer's report.

I can't wait to see some pictures from this excavation! And thanks again for checking in with us! Don't be a stranger!
